Dumaic Strategic Plan 2023-2025

Dumaic Global Health (DGH) was established in response to Uganda’s high burden of communicable diseases, the growing threat of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and new global health emergencies. As host of the Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA) in Uganda, DGH promotes transparency and accountability among state and non-state actors to strengthen the health system and more effectively
respond to the country’s health challenges and attain national and global health targets and commitments.

This Strategy is aligned to the stated goal of Ministry of Health is to “Strengthen the Health System and its support mechanisms with a focus on Primary Health Care to achieve Universal Health Coverage by 2030”, which in turn aligns with the global target of ensuring that by 2030, all people receive the health services they need for better health without undergoing financial hardship.
