Aziz Maija is a pharmacist, health economist and procurement expert, pharmaceutical supply chain and policy expert with over 20 years of experience across public health systems, regulatory systems, and health commodity logistics in Uganda and other LMICs. He has worked with ministries, development partners, regulators, and the private sector to develop and implement pharmaceutical supply chain solutions, regulatory frameworks, costing models, and rational medicine use interventions. His experience includes PSM, health economics, and pharmaceutical systems research. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Pharmacy from MUK, MCIPS, and an MSc Pharma economics & health Economics from Fabra University in Spain. He has consulted with several organizations including WHO, UNFPA, ENABEL, CHAI.
